Aussies Finally Declare=525/5(Ponting 290,Katich 110)
The Aussies have finally declared with the score at 525/5,Giving the New Zealanders a massive 556 to chase.Ponting ended up on 290 and Katich on 110.

Dean-Well Geoffrey,that ended a scintillating Aussie innings.The way they were playing,they could have made 1000 runs!
Geoffrey-Indeed Dean,the aussies played magnificently.Ponting was just outstanding.He never looked under any pressure.And some of those marvellous sixes he hit were effortless.This was indeed one of the great innings of the game.I think he will feel a little disappointed,missing out on a triple century,but then,he is the captain,and he made a selfless decision.
Dean-And what of Katich?
Geoffrey-Katich at first played slowly,getting himself in,and supporting Ponting,but after that,he just played with the bowlers,smashing them all over the park.He fully deserved his century.
Dean-Now the Aussies have virtually sealed the match,New Zealand have absolutely no chance of drawing this match,let alone winning.What do you think will be the aussies' plan?
Geoffrey-Well I think Ponting declared just before Tea so that perhaps McGrath or Gillespie might get an early wicket and that would put the Kiwiz under pressure going into Tea,which could result in further wickets.
Dean-Thanks for your comments Geoffrey.Folks,the Kiwi openers are making their way down to the middle,the aussies following them along with the umpires,so back to the match.

Nz,in their second innings,got out for just 146.The only batsmen who played reasonably well were Fleming,Sinclair,Astle,and Oram.Warne took 5 wickets.

The next match is an Odi.I will be testing out sac2k4pt's patch in it.If it is better than Ravi's,I will stick to it for the rest of the season.However,if it is worse than Ravi's,then I will use Ravi's for the rest of the season.
