Australian Domestic Season 2006-07

Hey guys I wanna pose an idea I have. I wanna do the authentic Australian 2006-07 Domestic season on Cricket 07 including the Ashes series. But I want to use made up players rather than the usuals. It would be as if Cricket were just invented and it was the first EVER first class/list A series. The players picked in the Australian team would be based on the Pura Cup stats and same with the Commonwealth Bank Series. England players would also be made up. Who thinks this can work? Post through your ideas. Here's a sample of the Domestic Squads. The players with an asterix next to them are the current 20 the selectors have in mind for Australia. If people are interested I was thinking one person could concerntrate on Pura Cup, one on Ford Ranger Cup, one on KFC Twenty20, one on Test and one on ODI and T20I. I could tell each person the injuries and who to pick for each match, who's unavalaible, who's in the Australian squad etc, etc.

Sure! This idea has great potential. If you posted some details on how to get involved, it'd be great. Well, if you were asking about the tournaments, I wouldn't mind taking charge of the KFC Twenty20 but ellaborate on how you will go about this please.

Wow thanks so much for all the support guys. I'm not too sure how I'm going to do this I only just recently joined so I'm kinda new. I might need some help. I figured a different person could manage each club and they take care of things like team line-up for matches, injuries, resting players and whatnot. I thought that from there we could have a person that actually plays the matches (a different person for each competition). Then you guys send me or post the results of the games (scorecards, batting scorecard and bowling, player of the match, stats, etc) then from there I can make a decision on the Australian team for when the Ashes rolls around. I could play the international matches but I may need someone else to play the ODIs and T20Is. It's up to you guys on how you create each of the players and how good you make them, but obviously keep in mind that the ones with the asterix will be the best and the captains will more than likely be the best player in the team as well.
