I will sign up after few more members gives it a go. In the meantime Melon, I would like to see a trifle more activity from the members of your forum. Tbh, it is getting tough for me to believe you will be able to get eleven of your members sign up for this with absolutely nothing in your forum out there.

Hey guys, nice to be here.

I'm with Melon from the Bandits forum. We're a tight nit bunch of mates who met through battrick and have developed our own forum for all things sports related.

We've been running a cricket simulation recently and very much enjoying it. After running a tournament amongst ourselves with 4 teams, the idea to challenge another forum to a series of cricket simulation matches was put forward. Melon did some research and came across you lovely people. Hence the stage we're at now.

It's all just a bit of fun and something to keep us sane while we're slaving away at our computers at work.

What I'm suggesting is a 2 leg competition. The Bandits get a squad of 12-14 players together and we sign up here. (Obviously Melon and myself will be 2 of the 12-14). We then play a 5 match series of Test or ODI. After this, you guys select a squad of 12-14 guys to sign up to the Bandits forum and play out the return series there.


All suggestions are welcome.

1. I would like you to sim the matches in one format and post the same here. We will sim for the other format of the game.

2. Secondly, I would love to see the matches simmed by you to get an idea about the various aspects of sim.

3. Please provide us with a link to download the sim too. It will help us understand the sim better.

4. It would be wonderful to have 2 warm up matches before the tour matches begin to get the right pack ready for the official matches.

5. I see your forum is plain empty; I would love to see more members from your forum join Planetcricket to get things heated up with (strictly) friendly banter.

Pefect! It would be great if you can pass on the ratings file once the ODI matches are done with so that we can get more uniformity in the ratings of the players/members.
