Battles in Cricket Chat?

I'll try to work something out within the next few days and post it in the new sub forum. I know exactly how I want to run the battles of players from every nation, but I'm still having trouble deciding how many players from each nation should make it to the Battle of the Cricketers? Remember, the total number of players has to be so it will work in a bracket framework, like 32, 64, 128, etc.

Or would people rather have a Battle of the Cricketers NOT based on the other battles? As in, we just nominate people who we think deserve to be up there.

I don't see why it has to be 32 or 64 exactly. It's easier enough to do random prelims imo.

Well its a lot easier to do brackets with those numbers, anything else would cause problems with later rounds having an odd number of total players.

BTW, is it ok if I have separate threads for every battle?

To the first point you simply play prelims until you have 32 or 64 or whatever (much as the Champions Trophy did).
To the second point, yes that's fine; a thread for each.
