i think both the comments of Delonge182 and fardin sound immature to me. First Delonge182 was right about his two teams being the best in the world. Everyone has to agree, Australia are the top and England are there at No.2. But to say Pakistan are a joke to cricket is immature. they are a above average team. yes, we need team spirit to win matches and they lack a bit in it. but they seem to be improving. the series against india showed it that the team is not as seperated as it is showed to be!

and fardin, sachin was right in pointing out that john wright is a good coach. shall i give you samples? we reached the final of the world cup, we beat australia when they were on an unbeaten run of 16 test victories, we went and won test matches in Zimbabwe, West Indies, England and Sri Lanka when till Wright came, we won a ODI series in West Indies, we hadnt won a single test outside India, we performed very well in the Champions trophy so far and were joint winners with Sri Lanka, we drew a series in Australia (we almost won the series!), we beat Pakistan convincingly in Pakistan in both the test and ODI series, etc. Give me something abt Bob Woolmer which is even 50% as good as this. He is a "hot 'n cold" coach who at times takes the team to a high and at times, brings it to a low!

and even pakistan have lost to bangladesh. and see, ODI cricket is a game which depends on the particular day it is played. Anything can happen in ODI's. Its all about luck on that particular day!

sai if you look at the overall record Pakistan have got the upper hand against India(now don't say how & please don't start this discussion that stats does not show the team's performance ) No Offence Buddy
come on guys this is a coach thread not a indo-pak discussion thread stop flamming at each other both are doing well in their respective countries so stop this non-sense at who's doing well,Cricket is a game that has got ups & down,win & lose so please it is better that we discuss about coaches or else...:

You later wrote abt ur team being currently second best huh!. You better provide in which form of the game they r. They r no.2 in tests but no.6 in ODI's whre as Pakistan is at no.4 in both forms of the game.

As far as coaches r concerned my list is as follows:
1.Bob Woolmer (He is up there for me not because he is coaching Pak but because he tranformed SA side which started there international cricket in around 1990's into a side which vry quickly became one of the best of 1990's era.)
2.John Buchanan(For making a team which has dominated more than any other side in history of cricket.)
3.John Wright(For his good run with India)

I was referring to the series India played in Pakistan in 2004 and the series Pakistan played recently in India in 2005. I was not referring to the overall record of both teams as you seem to be pointing out!

How can The pakistani team be selfish?Take Shahid Afridi for Example,he doesnt play cautiousely and goes for his shots early on to get pakistan to a good start,And he puts his position into jeopardy by doing that so.If you look at Shahid Afridis batting stats and you would see that it isnt good enough for an regular player who plays for pakistan in every odis now and then.The pakistani team They are one hard working individuals,

They did a great job by winning the series againts India,It was hard work that payed off,Just because They won a match againts your fav team you are convicting them of being selfish and That is disgrace.
