Hi!

I've been using Photon Max for about a year now and I must say - it's disappointing. I've got the 6GB plan, costs me about 1100 per month. Earlier I earlier had Airtel broadband at the same price which offered high speed till 10 GB.

I'm looking to change and would really appreciate some suggestions. :)

I'm planning to buy this - Huawei E3531s-1 Data Card - Huawei: Flipkart.com

I've very little knowledge about these gadgets but could any one please help me out. I'm planning to stop using photon max and instead use my Vodafone Sim for 2G/3G network, will this Huawei dongle help me in this case or it's for some other purpose totally?

if you are in delhi you can use mtnl ftth.

I use vodafone 3G in a dongle, and it works fine, apart from places where there is a network problem (like my home). My mobile connection is also vodafone, so I usually tether my computer using it when I do not have the dongle with me.
For the dongle, I have a prepaid SIM, and usually recharge for 255 for 28 days giving me 1 GB, or 450ish for 28 days, giving me 2 GB, as per requirement.

I've used MTS before, and I found it quite good. Being CDMA, it is less likely to be prone to indoor network problems.
You can contact MTS for a demo to check whether you are getting good signal/speed.

If you're planning on using vodafone, again, I would advise you to check the network where you are most likely to use the computer, and then decide.
The Huawei device you've linked is the sort of device you're looking for. (This won't be useful for MTS however, because that uses CDMA).

use vodafone 3g sim in your phone & check you getting 3g signals at your home. if you get 3g signals at your home then you can go for Vodafone but its tariff 12 GB unlimited (FUP) for 1500 INR after 12 GB it make speed of 2g.
