Who do you think is the best strikeforce in the Premiership? Henry/Wiltord? Heskey/Owen? Shearer/Bellemy?

Well my vote wouldnt go for any of those, id say it has to be:

Ruud Van Horseface (Nistelrooy) and Mike Riley

They are fantastic, Riley keeps setting them up and Van Nistelrooy keeps putting them away. The stats speak for themselves:

I was very suprised when Mr Riley(From West Yorkshire) didnt go up with his team to collect the winners medal on Sunday afternoon, still I dont imagine he would have missed the party afterwards with his mates Ruud and Alex.

(Stats all true and clearly show 7 penaties in 5 games, check http://www.ratetheref.co.uk/ for more details)

 Very funny(!) I just think it's luck or maybe Riley likes to give penalties to teams.Anyway,Ruud is the man!25 goals this season, means he claims the golden boot.Remember not long ago?Arsenal were 8 points clear or in fact at one stage they were 12!And looking at the end of the season Man Utd are 5 points clear!

Dugarry and Horsefield all the way baby :D

auwais when you post a league table or something its best to do it in word or works, paste it to paint as a jpeg and then attach it here, cos, as you can see, it just comes out looking very awkward.

Yer Ste, the stats are quite amazing, Ruud Van Nistelrooy has set a new premiership record by winning a record number of penalties this season - he himself has won 9 penalities, which broke the record of 8 set by none other than Jurgen Klinsmann in the 94/95 season. Man United have won a total of 12 penalties in the league and 4 in the cups this year and is the biggest toal since the famous "anfield penalty" which was in the late 80's/early 90's (you may not remember) where Liverpool won 15 penalties in the 89/90 season (the last time they won the league I might add). Its not luck, its blatant diving (especially from Ruud), at least Liverpool didn't roll all over the place when they won penalties, but Ruud really does take the

thanks

I can just about remember Sonic! I didn't know that Stat though, however im sure 90% of them were not awarded by the same ref! Van Horseface is definatly up there will Jeffers in the diving stakes!

Also can anyone tell me the point of Beckham being in the latest England squad even though he is suspended for the next Euro 2004 qualifier? Its even been said he wont play in the Serbia/Montenegro(Yugoslavia) friendly and Im sure I heard he won't play against South Africa either. He shuold only be a squad player at best in the England set up anyway.

Ste

Heres the final table as an image - top 4 in the Champions League, 5th and 6th in the UEFA Cup, Intertoto cup entrients not yet confirmed and Manchester City possibly into the UEFA cup because of Englands status in the UEFA Fair Play League.

Fine with me,I'll do just that.I can't see any dives if I look at the replays of the Ruud penalties <_< It's strange how many people hate Man U here.Alex Ferguson is the all-time best manager! And what's with this "horse-face"?You people just say that because Arsenal never won the league and Henry never won the golden-boot.
You can't win everything, everytime unless you're Man Utd!

auwais, I am no Arsenal fan. I support the team which finished fourth in the third division, if you can work that out.

Man United just play with such arrogance, which all stems from the manager who loves himself and is such a hypocrite. At the beginning of tehs eason he proclaimed the Worthington Cup a great tournament (at that time United were seventh in the league) whereas in years gone by he has shunned it...damn, united even had the arrogance to pull out of the FA cup three seasons back. thats why i hate United - also because the majority of their suporters come from the most obscure places and don't even know where Manchester is, and have never seen them play at Old Trafford in their lives. Yes, United supporters are a bunch of glory seekers, when things go wrong they quickly crawl back in their shells, but when they win the league, man you cant walk ten paces without seeing someone wearing that awful shirt

thanks

And 9 times out of ten when you ask them anything about football or even about Manchester United before the last few years or half-deap, they dont have a clue.

Also the media hype them up so much in their complete bias, esp. w/ ITV sometimes I dont know whether im watching that or MUTV during matches.

What? You dissin' Clinton? He must have scored at least 2 vital goals for you this season! That transfer may go down as the best piece of business Palace have done since flogging Armstrong to Tottenham :D ...

 Actually you have a point, I asked a Man U fan only today at work how many points they actually finished on, their response was, "about ten more than Arsenal I think?"...at that moment I just walked away from the guy. It just goes to show, most Man U fans spend so much time gloating, they don't even know what they are gloating about ! They never check to look at the league table, cos, well, they just assume they don't need to.

The biggest problem i have with them is this Peter Kenyon guy. He earlier in the season said it would be "good for football" if half the teams went out of business and that any side with financial difficulties should be expelled. this caused outrage amongst us lower division teams (especially me being a Bournemouth fan), this man is just self-obsessed and says a lot about the structure of a club like Man U, who think they are big enough to start dictating how the governing bodies should run the game.

the truth is, if Peter Kenyon looked at the "facts" before opening his big "gob shite" he would notice that if all teams were expelled from the league with financial problems, you would be left with just one team. And who is that do you think? :D Even Arsenal, Chelsea, Leeds and Liverpool are feeling the pinch. does Kenyon care? of course he doesn't, in fact he's probably laughing in his hammock with his fat cigar. should Kenyon or Man U care? Well, no, and I wouldn't expect them too, cos they are all self-obsessed money grabbing gob shites !

thanks
