The ECB knew that it's limited overs competition, the Clydesdale Bank 40 was getting stale by the fourth month, so it has decided to completely shake up English cricket with a new competition. They decided on a thirty over format which should contain the best of both sides - the quick action of Twenty20 and the strategy of the longer 40 over format. The short, sharp, BetFred30 will consist of four teams and will showcase the best players from every county side. The four teams play each other twice at some of the top grounds in England, then the champions go into a season-ending three match series against the All*Stars at Lord's, a team comprised of the leading players from the other three teams. Now, the team owners are looking for managers, so let's get this party started!
