Big Dilemma- help needed.

I have had Blic since thurs and i starte dof reallly liking the game. But since i have noticed a bug that makes the game so unrealistc and renders it almost unplayable. when the cpu is batting they never take easy singles. They hit the ball where there is an easy run on but they refuse the run. So becasue of this i am considering exhanging it for Criekt 2005 but would that be a wise decision? How good is the game? I've heard the batting is really hard which doesnt bother me but what would you say i should do?

Batting is easy, but I hear you on the crap AI.... Australia were 64/0 off 6 overs in a test which is c**p..... and the CPU plays at everything!!! Also you can edit the player names & thats it!!! which means you have a "White" Andrew Symonds....and come to think of it a "grey" Jason Gillespie..

Cricket 2005 has it's problems too, but it's much more realistic that BLIC, the two most annoying bugs are:-

Bowlers are bowling more than their allotted overs in ODI's and when you save at the end of Day 1 in a test, you play an over in Day 2 then it reverts back to after lunch on Day 1...

Hopefully, community patches will rectify these but I would'nt hold your breath for an EA patch....

Other niggles is the commentary is a bit all over the place at times, and the fielders are too fast...

Cricket 2005 is the better of the two IMHO after I did have hopes for BLIC.

Batting is extremely hard in the ODI's in EA 2005 but then again I prefer the tests.
Game is very good and most of the bugs are only cosmetic.

Yeah i always do test matches in cricket 2005

there is more possibility of edges & stuff etc.

Get Cricket 2005 mate. Bugs can be annoying but can be ignored. Batting is hard in 10-20 overs but in a full 50 over ODI its pretty easy.

batting is complete joke, its very very easy but its still fun and better than brian lara. swap it!

Bowling is really fun in Cricket 2005 ...batting is quite easy...but i didnt get edges in test or one day ....at least so far.......the bugs are ok....cant help...

A quick question regarding Ck2005.I've heard lots of people say the batting is hard which i dont mind but is it a case of hard at the start but persevering and keep working hard and you willget the hang of it and become a competent player? i'm almost made up my mind im going to exchange BLIC for this but i'd like to know the answer to this question please. I haven't played much of it but as far I know, without much confidence you'd we quite restricted when it comes to shot selection but once your confidence gets up, you'll be able to time more types of shots more often and that to me is good.
