I was just wondering, has anyone ever considered making the AI harder to bowl at by raising their batting skill? I am considering taking this course of action after beating the West Indies by an innings and 150 runs. It would certainly make the game harder.
Also, you could raise everyones aggression stats for ODIs, so the CPU actually has a chance of posting a decent score.

Gas has done this for his India tour. Batters up and bowlers down. Best thing would be to bowl on county and bat on test.

in one of the game files i found the bowling marker, what if you made the bowling marker disappear when your batting. that would make it harder to judge where the ball is going. to make the game more realistic you can take away the radar, timing bar and confidence bars.

Editing the players stats does help. Increasing everyone maximum stats can make a difference, make lower order batsman around the same level as a Ponting or Lara, and then make tailenders at around 60-75. I found it increased their scores a fair amount.

If you then lower some of the stats of batsman you yourself use, it can make the game more challenging.

Using the team information editor i edited india's top 6 or 7 batsmen, to have 100 in everything, aggression, concentration, offside, legside, defense etc. I then gave all of my bowlers medium bowling control. India scored 444 odd all out. It was tough.
