after reading this post, i thought i should make a bowler-batting line up
1. Phillip Hughes
2. Chris Martin
3. Murali
4. Doug Bollinger
5. Dale Steyn
6. Kumar Sangakarra
7. Jaqcues Kallis
8. Graeme Smith
9. Ricky Ponting
10. Michael Clarke
11. Sachin Tendulkar.

Bloody good batting order, but only decent batsmen are Hughes and Martin.

9 current players and 2 all time.

Mitchell Johnson
Dale Steyn
James Franklin
Wasim Akram*
Md Aameer
Brett Lee
Mashrafe Mortaza
Harbhajan Singh
Md. Rafique
Ravi Rampul
Graeme Swann

if the batsman were to bowl at them, they would easily score over 275 runs. now only problem is, who do i pick as a WK?

it would be funny, if they do make a fun match with a batting and bowling side. Team 1 with 11 bowlers, and 11 batsman, Team 2 with 11 bowlers and 11 batsman. bowlers from both sides only bats, and the batsman only bowls, from both side. or may be add a keeper and 2 all rounders on each side. should be fun :p

10 current players and 1 all time.

1) D Bravo
2) D Vettori
3) A Flintoff
4) M Johnson
5) D Steyn
6) J Taylor
7) S Bond
8) J Anderson
9) S Warne *
10) M Asif
11) D Bollinger

I rekon my top 5 would muster 150-200 runs

Maybe Bravo, but he still stays, and to be fair, Warne in your list is a "current player"

Mitchell Johnson
Dale Steyn
Andrew Flintoff
Wasim Akram *
Graeme Swann
Stuart Broad
Irfan Pathan
Mohammad Aamer
Jerome Taylor
James Anderson
Harbhajan Singh

Considering Vettori has averages over 45 in the last 5 years it's hard to call him a bowler. He's a genuine all-rounder and at worst a bowling all-rounder.

Me and one of my mates did all these teams on the eve of the Boxing Day test, 2008.

Bowling XI, Batting XI, Fielders XI, Keepers XI, Kookaburra XI, Slaz.....

Anyway, anyone who bats 8-11 regularly is a bowler.

Johnson
Vettori
Dhoni (wk) (not a bad bowler :D)
Akram
Broad
Swann

My Bowling XI
D Vettori
Mitchell Johnson
Abdul Razzaq(in his prime form)
Andrew Flintoff
Wasim Akram*
Muhammad Aameer
S Warne
Saqlain Mushtaq (WK)
Brett Lee
Dale Steyn
Muhammad Asif

If Irfan Pathan come back into his prime form then my lineup will be,

D Vettori
Mitchell Johnson
Abdul Razzaq(in his prime form)
Andrew Flintoff
Irfan Pathan
Wasim Akram(C)
Muhammad Aameer
S Warne(VC)
Saqlain Mushtaq (WK)
Brett Lee
Muhammad Asif

1) Mitchell Johnson
2) Stuart Broad(only in the team for his batting)
3) Irfan Pathan
4) Shaun Pollock(wk)(vc)
5) James Franklin
6) Brett Lee
7) Graeme Swann
8) Shane Warne(c)
9) Muhammad Aameer
10) Dale Steyn
11) James Anderson

Anderson
Pollock
Pathan
Vettori
Bresnan (+)
Franklin
Swann
Johnson
Warne (*)
Lee
Harbhajan

In batting order. Pollock and Warne the legends. Bresnan keeper as he's the worst bowler there (:p) Vettori bats at 4 while Jimmy and Pollock open the batting as they have solid batting techniques, and Pathan has experience at 3.

6) Brett Lee
7) shane warne
8) shane bond
