Which foreign player would complete your national side

Well Badri is 28 I think, while those two are 34. Worth giving the younger version of Dravid a chance.

Dravid should be playing for the English team. He is the most dominant Indian player in England by quite a mile. He loves playing there and has amazing stats while playing all around the world as well. So yeah, Rahul would be my pick for England.

WI certainly wouldn't mind giving the guy a shot, get him in at #5. I'm going to see if he has some connection to the Caribbean, get him in.

Probably not, but there is a lot of Indian influence in the Carb in general so I think he'd feel at home. Same with Eng, SA, and NZ. :p

Has classic Tamilian batting style too, very wristy, a good nurdler but a sweet timer of the ball. Kind of similar to the calypso batting style...think Murali Vijay.

Not a bad pick, definitly need someon for the 3 spot if Trott does not work out. Id still rather go with Ponting at 3.

Ponting is the Aussie captain. Even in the worst possible hypothetical estimate, Ricky won't be playing for England, in my opinion. Rahul loves playing in England and has played for Ireland before, so he knows the conditions very well. To top it all, people all over the world have utmost respect for him and he can get along with anyone without any issues.

England need someone like him

I dont see what any of that has to do with the fact that Ponting is the best number 3 in the world.

We are using our imagination here man. Dravid wont be playing for England too.

David or Ponting at #3, whoever you pick you cant really lose.

:facepalm I don't think you understand this thread tbh.

i would take Ponting. specially with teams scoring over 400, you need attacking players. not just attacking, attacking while keeping wicket in check. Sanga isnt doing that bad at #3 either. Kallis is very good for a all rounder.

Still I think if it was a actual draft and Ponting, Kallis and Sanga went 1,2,3 the person picking 4th wouldn't be too mad about getting Dravid.

i wouldnt mind, but Dravid hater Indian fans would :p (and there are a lot of them here)

I'm not too sure how any Indian cricket fan can hate Dravid to be honest, he's played an important role in our test side for the last decade and has been one of our most reliable batsman.. what's there to hate about him?

People can't digest that he's just as good as Sachin in tests :laugh.
