Which foreign player would complete your national side

ok for bangladesh I would choose jayawardene, they need leading and he's been one of the best captains in recent memory. Plus he's a behmoth at home, and even if bangladesh had to continue not doing quite so well away a guy that would rack up test doubles, anchor the innings, and take apart attacks on spinning wickets would be invaluable for their record, at home at least.

For Sri Lanka, It should be Virender Sehwag. Ask him to join with Dilshan… so they can launch the massacre of the century in one of those Indian highways. :D

After the match, ICC will wake up and introduce the laws to bring some balance to the game.

Or

Suleiman Ben – A good specialist spin bowler.

The reasons,
1. He is a better spinner than ours (based on what we saw in India).:hpraise
2. Our players just smiles too much… so we want a one who is not very keen on doing it... to make the balance.:(

For Bangladesh, it should be Sanga.
A decent batsman against all opponents, in all conditions and in all formats of the game.
A decent wicketkeeper… so you can have an extra batsman in the team.
More importantly, a cricketer who possesses a brain on his shoulders (although I have doubts whether he uses it after becoming the SL captain).:p

Wouldn't mind a 17 year old fast bowler like Aamer or an already established fast bowler like Dale Steyn.

I'm with Dare on the Steyn/Asif thing.

I remember that series and it was Ntini that did most of the real damage with the ball. Steyn's tally was boosted considerably by picking up tail enders after Ntini had worked his way through the top order. Tail enders are obviously important but india, with an army of spinners, need someone to get the first 5 out.

Yea in no way am I trying to take away Steyns wickets, a wicket is a wicket but that one pitch was a a bowlers dream.
Still I don't think India would complain if they got Steyn to bowl for them.

There's no team in this world that wouldn't have room for Steyn tbh. He's just that damn good.

well, this is where the exercise falls down and gets predictable.

if anyone feels their pace bowlers are lacking, pick steyn. It's hardly rocket science saying the best pace bowler in the world by miles would improve your bowling though.

at least with the batting gaps there is some variety to choose from.

Not necessarily, I personally selected Steyn because he actually has a good bowling average in India and is a pure fast bowler who you do not need to count on to bat. As you pointed out the Sri Lankans would be better off picking a fast bowler that can bat a bit (Mitch) than Steyn. Either way this has been good fun.
