England would do good with someone like Angelo Mathews, after all, he's got the name.
Suleiman Ben ? A good specialist spin bowler.
The reasons,
1. He is a better spinner than ours (based on what we saw in India).:hpraise
2. Our players just smiles too much? so we want a one who is not very keen on doing it... to make the balance.![]()
Sulieman Benn over Murali, Mendis & Herath? That's a pretty big call.
Yes they did have a pretty poor series with the ball and the three-spinner strategy was not the success that they opted for but that is a very interesting call to say Benn is better than any of Sri Lanka's spinners after one poor series.
In the Test series against India, Murali & Mendis weren't attacking the Indian batsman enough but the circumstances they were in didn't help much either. Take the second test for example when Sri Lanka had to bowl when the pitch was not conclusive to bowling and bat when the bowlers had the advantage. With all this hype about 'Murali being past his peak', he is still the kingpin of Sri Lanka's bowling attack and I'm sure he will bounce back soon. Ajantha Mendis was a big disapointment for me and I think he needs to add more variation as it's looking as though batsman are countering him now.
Well you take Benn and we want Murali or Herath in return.
Not really, Harris is not much of a spinner, they would be a much stronger team with Daniel Vettori in place of Harris

I reckon a lot of countries would want some of India's domestic batting stars as well. Can see a guy like Badri fitting into England, NZ, WI very easily and making big runs.
J Botha is decent. but not up to the mark, yet to take a 5w. but when you have #1 pace bowling attack you dont need Warali class spinners
