Well, if you want a serious post in this thread, I don't actually think Geeves is that good. I don't like his action, he doesn't have much pace about him, he is a very handy state cricketer but I don't think he will be able to make the step up to test matches. Plus, when Australia have Johnson, Siddle, Lee, Clark as frontline pacemen, and Bollinger and Hilfenhaus waiting in the wing, the only way he will get a chance playing for Australia in the next 3 years is a lot of injuries, if he is picked for any other reason, I think we should be very worried.

I dont wanna spoil anyone's party here,but from what I saw in the last season's IPL he was very average and innacurate with his line and length.He was smashed all around the park.He wasnt played in the XI after that.

He is 130's isn't he? That's what he was bowling against Bangladesh last year when I watched him play a game or two.

When I was watching he was in the mid 140s. If he was 130s the selectors wouldn't pick him, it is his pace which they like about him.
