And that's why the majority of our batsman have had batting averages of over 50 in Test Cricket and 40 in ODI cricket & bowling averages of around or under 25 in both forms of the game?

If teams do get pysced out before the game then you can't really blame them. When we're playing at our best, not other team in the world comes close. Take the Ashes for insistance. 5-0 against the 2nd best team in the world. It doesn't get much beater then that.

I'm sorry, Australia are a good team and if they win the World Cup they fully deserve it. Regarding fans having to "hate" other teams, you're one crazy person - Ponting14. There are few cricket fans who hate other teams apart from their own. Though India are out, I still like to see the Windies, Sri lanka, and New Zealand to do well. Don't tell us what to do.

It's fine that you feel that way but it if means that you can't enjoy one of the world's greatest sporting spectacles just because your team is out, then so be it.

That is partly because of the fact that cricket is`nt as big a sport in Australia as in India and Pakistan.
It is comparable to the way football is followed in Europe .
Another reason for that is lack of sporting culture in these countries.
We hardly have any sport event to look upto other than cricket because our teams are crap at most other `big` sports.
