London: Staff at the Promises clinic, where Britney Spears checked herself into last month, has been put on a ‘suicide watch’, after the singer reportedly tried to hang herself with a bed sheet.
Britney had friends and family worried sick when paramedics were rushed to the clinic recently, and now a friend has revealed that medics were called because she tried to commit suicide.
Just before she tried to hang herself, the pal said, Britney wrote 666 on her shaved head, and ran around the clinic screaming, "I am the Antichrist!" She is still very vulnerable.

That is just sickening. She craves attention like a spoilt schoolgirl. Simon Cowell wrote a column for a magazine where he said that Britney (and Robbie Williams) need to see the hardship of third world countries before complaining of her own 'problems'. He also said that when he was 30, he was broke (through bad investments) and went home to his mum to start over, Britney should really do the same as her mum seems to be the only one who can control her.

Maybe fame has done this too her.There's obviously something very wrong, however, this isn't a publicity stunt. You don't try and kill yourself to get publicity. It's not as if she isn't infamous already. I'd suggest that she would rather she get less publicity???

Fact is, a mental disorder is the same as a physical illness. It's often not the persons fault and it isn't a funny subject. I mean, imagine the attitude change if she had Cancer or somthing like that.

Simon Cowell got it spot on. What problems did Britney have!? She has millions of dollars. She broke up with K-Fed who she could get back in a phone call. She still has some kind of looks left!

It can be just as tough living in the public eye all the time. Imagine not being able to leave your house without an army of journalist and photographers taking pictures of you. Yes, they get lots of money....but at a price.


Also, did we hear about all of the problems they had? No. Just because you have money doesn't mean you'll be happy!!!!!

Stephen Fry suffers from depression. I did not know that! He doesn't strike me as a vulnerable sort of person!
