With the interschool cricket season coming up, I want to fix my slightly broken bat. It works fine, but for caretaking and the sake of making it look good, I would like some advice about this. I want to avoid tape if possible, and I have linseed oil.

Thanks in advance

Nice work, although I would have been tempted to get in touch with the guy who made the bat.

They should be able to offer you a replacement, especially if it's under a few months old.

Its about a year old, this happened a few months ago. I wasnt using it, I let someone use it so every promptly decided it was theirs to use too. I have a feeling I know who it was, he doesnt tap, he slams the bat as the bowler comes in. So, anyone have any ideas?

Looks like the protective covering of the bat face is coming off?

Yep, can you suggest something Alex we have our first game in a week and a bit

I have the same problem and all I did was wrap fiberglass tape around the base.(and then a bit of electrical tap on the toe) it works...but It doesn't look the best lol
