Hey guys i bought the Grey-Nicolls Predator a week ago, i knocked it in the one of those Know-in machines at the sport stores twice, oiled it, and knocked it in further with a wooden mallet, took it to the nets, and this weekend played a game with it, i went out on 5 runs 9th balls with a top-edge (opened) after that 2 people batted with my bat as i wanted to give the bat good game-time, THEY ALSO GOT TOP-EDGED!! then on sunday we had a social cricket game between friends, where 3 of the guys went out again with top-edges, is this a coincidence or is it bad batting or what could be the problem.... Paid alot and is now so disappointed please give some advice.

It's almost certainly awful batting. Most probably caused by the batsman turning the face of the bat far too early, resulting in the ball coming off the edge, not the face of the bat. Gray-Nicolls don't make bats with giant top edges!
