BUGLIST !!!

Just got my game delivered today and am really enjoying it except for one major bug which really annoys me

I can handle the fielder walking on the pitch as it is only for one ball. I can handle cpu bowling down legside occasionally and it going for byes cause all u need to do is shuffle along and block it but I cannot stand at all the defaulting of the teams when you save a game, I mean what is the point of playing a test match if you cant save it half way through.

For Example? I started a Caribbean tour with England and belive it or not Andy Flintoff is not in the England default team so I brought him, Mark Butcher and Simon Jones into my team.? In the first innings Flintoff got a hundred and two wickets and Jones got three wickets so how annoyed was I when I loaded my saved game and neither were playing anymore.

I emplore someone somewhere to find a remedy for this as it is definitely the games most annoying bug.

Anyway thats my spleen vented.
You can...just turn off "autosave" in the options menu.

Steve.

Another bug...

Daryl Tuffey bowled a "7 ball over" B4 lunch on day one of a test so very time he finishes an over its always ends in .1

plus..for those who don't know.... when you edit/create a player you must make a user profile first also for nVidia
users download the very latest 5X.XX drivers, they seem to be more reliable for example Cricket 2002 does not freeze
up anymore....

I hope HB studios look at this site and are sort the IMHO minor irritations out, after all it's not a bad game.

Steve.

yeah, there are two minor bugs that no one mentioned.

When you are running between the wickets and the third umpire is called and you are found to be safe, the run is not counted.
This pisses you off especially when you have run three and they are not counted.

Also, if you are bowled out in ODIs or Tests, the scorecard puts all the players as out. THAT IS IMPOSSIBLE. This effects the averages some players if you follow that kind of thing.

And ofcourse the rain.

Hopefully they do bring out a patch but only once shane warne has finished his suspension so he can replace macgill in the test team.I have also had the bug where the bowler has bowled .1 for an over before he has even bowled a ball and at the end of the over it says 1.1 overs bowled.

JDBais,

I mentioned this matter early on in one of the topics.
But now it seems that this bug occures at random. Sometimes no runs are added, other times they are added allright.
I found out that if you run three and after the third run the third umpire is consulted, no matter out of not out, in some of the cases none of the runs were added, in other cases the counting is allright.

The workaround for that really anoying bug, resetting the default team during a testmatch, is to turn off "autosave"?? That's a worthy tip, thank you.

Thanks Steve if your auto save tip works I bow down to you

Another bug I have found is when it brings up a players score it sometimes miscounts the number of 4's and 6's you've hit. eg: 1 Bal faced, 2x 4's, 0x 6's, total: 4 gets displayed. No biggie because the score is right.

Yea it happens...there is a run-rate bug, it sometimes or actually a lot of times shows the worng current run-rate.

Formula: Runs Scored :divided by: Overs

The Run Rate Bug:
Run Rate is calculated correctly at the end of the over

During overs:
eg. 6.3 Overs 46 Runs
it will calculate as 46 / 6 instead of 46 / 6.5

yes, I have some more,

1. sometime when a ball is played towards the boundary it stops near it and then nothing happens for a while cpu takes 5-10 runs and then game comes back to normal.

2. stupid runout by Cpu whenever we set up a customer field with mid on & mid off

3. there are no day & night matches when we play a 50 over world cup match when stadiums have floodlights. This is a recent bugs
The World Cup games were all played as day games, thus the reason none of the games were played under lights

I am pretty sure they were all day games ... maybe my memory is failing, after all it was like 3 in the morning when I was watching the games!!!

Cheers

AJ

The first game was a day/nighter when SA took on the Windies and the world cup semi with India and Kenya was also a day/nighter. I'm also sure there were a couple of super six games as day/night fixtures.

i had the fixtures and pretty sure there were a fair amount of day nighters.
