Can someone explain to me where you put the roster files

Last time i replaced some rosters and edited line-ups all the stats started going wrong e.g. when i changed the line-up to bat and the the batting stats it would be fine then all the other stats it had the wrong player names......... so i had to remove it delete all files and install it again.
Can someone plz tell me where to put them
p.s. looked in the other thread but didn't answer my question properly

Did the player names come wrong when you saved and then re-opened the game? if yes then you have the line-up bug, donwload sams exe to get rid of it.

Put the roster file in my documents/EA Sports/Cricket 2004/user'username'

'username is the username of yours in the game.
