Moody steps down

Tom Moody takes a question from the media
In a press conference earlier in the week, Warriors manager and head coach Tom Moody, officially stepped down from his position, stating, "family problems and other personal commitments" took precedence over helming the prestigious cricket club. "Long" Tom Moody played 300 first-class matches, scoring 21001 runs at an average of 46.25, and also took 361 wickets at an average of 30.70. He also played eight tests for Australia, scoring 456 runs at 32.57.
Brent Evans was named as his successor later in the week, a relative unknown to the cricketing community. Hailing from the Magpies, a club-level team located in the northern suburbs of Perth, Evans was a talented all-rounder who scored 3254 runs at 30.42, and collected 312 wickets at 34.10. He was player-coach of his side, and has coached several other clubs, as well as several youth teams. Western Australia will be his first state gig.
