Retravision Warriors vs. Queensland Bulls Pura Cup
6, 7, 8, November 2008 Toss: JP Maher won the toss and chose to bat Result: Western Australian won by 6 wickets Man of the Match: Brad Hogg (109 runs, 3-61 & 4-55)
In-form bowlers tear Queensland apart
Steve Magoffin finished the match with figures of 7 for 116
Sitting on 5/121 overnight, the Queensland Bulls had a fight on their hands to recover their innings and have any chance of winning the match. They were never in the hunt, losing their next five wickets for 104 runs, scoring only 34 runs in their last 20 overs. Only Jason Arnberger (41) and Craig Philipson (61*) contributed anything decent, as Steve Magoffin (3/55), Ben Edmonson (3/60) and Brad Hogg (4/55) had their way with the Queensland batsmen.
It was only three overs after the lunch break the Bulls were bowled out and the Warriors came out to bat. Although only needing 113 runs to win, and five sessions to do it in, the West Australian batsmen seemed all over the place. While Justin Langer hit a steady 57 from 67 deliveries, David Bandy, Shaun Marsh and Luke Pomersbach all fell for 27 runs between them. Adam Voges steadied and batted slowly, facing 41 deliveries for just 11 runs, while Adam Gilchrist hit 13 runs off the 12 balls he faced.
Western Australia now sit atop the Pura Cup ladder with 8 points, having scored bonus points in both their matches.

Good win for W Australia.
Great Story going on. Great Update as well.
You can try more colours,It would give more beautiful look.
Anyway Keep Up The Great Work.
Superb story mate, this is excellent, and a great win.
I agree with vm about the colour. I think if you made the text slightly bigger and maybe used red or blue font it might just make it stand out and make it easier to read
Retravision Warriors vs. Victorian Bushrangers Ford Ranger Cup
14 November 2008 Toss: CL White won the toss and chose to bat Man of the Match: JL Langer Result: Western Australia won by 10 wickets
Justin Langer pulls to a run-a-ball 137
Western Australia's excellent form continues as WA openers Adam Gilchrist and Justin Langer smashed the Victorian bowling attack to give their side a 10 wicket victory, their second Ford Ranger Cup win, and their third win overall in five matches. The Victorian batsmen were off to a good start, with Ben Edmonson going for 17 runs in his first two overs, and Mathew Inness going for 27 in his first three overs. Brett Dorey was on fire all day, taking a wicket in each one of his spells, and despite such a strong start by the Bushrangers, the West Australian bowlers kept Victoria to just 245 by innings' end. Several Victorian batsmen had starts, including Nick Kruger, Aiden Blizzard, who went on to score 57, Bryce McGain, skipper Cameron White and David Hussey. Despite starts from five of the eight batsmen who came to the crease, none of them looked particularly dangerous, although all of them were solid in their relatively short innings.
Adam Gilchrist, with an average of 110, and Justin Langer, who is yet to be out in the Ford Ranger Cup this season, dominated the Victorian bowlers from ball one. While Langer's first 50 came in 47 deliveries, Adam Gilchrists strike rate, whilst not terrible, was strangely low by his standards, with his 50 coming in 75 deliveries. Batting at a run-a-ball for the entire innings, Langer's second 100 came up in 105 runs. Facing an unusually defensive field, Adam Gilchrist hit just 9 fours and one six in his innings, whilst Justin Langer, who faced a more common field than his partner, hit nineteen boundaries, including 3 sixes.
The win leaves the Warriors on top the Ford Ranger Cup table with an astounding net run rate of 0.609, way above second-placed Victoria's 0.083. Justin Langer is without an average so far this season, yet to get out in his 3 innings, and sits atop the runscoring tables with 329 for the season. Adam Gilchrist, who earlier in the season attributed their FR Cup loss and their Pura Cup draw to disappointing efforts by the middle order, including himself, now has a season average of 158, and his first-class average sits at 75.33.

Sorry guys, but this story is gonna have to end. It's not due to a lack of time or interest or anything like that, but something's happened to my Cricket Coach game and now I can't advance to the next day of this match. The game just crashes. I've tried several times for nothing, so sadly this story is over.
I will most likely start up another one in the summer when interest in Australian cricket perks up a bit more.
ATTN: I'm planning on reformatting my computer in the next couple of weeks, but I'm waiting for my download rate to go back to normal so I can redownload some installs that got deleted (Firefox, notepad++, etc), and I've kept my save of Cricket Coach. So this will be re-thingied (word for started again) when I do that.
I wont restart the game at all, I'll just continue from where I left off.
