Here's the background information. Previous to the World Cup, Pakistan were ranked 7th in the world, with India top, and England in 2nd. England, who had won the last world cup in 2007, were the joint favourites, along with India. In the group stages, the usual top 8 teams got through: England, India, Pakistan, West Indies, New Zealand, Australia, South Africa, Sri Lanka.
In the Super 8's, New Zealand and Sri Lanka and India failed to fire. The three of them being knocked out. Australia gave it their all but also were knocked out leaving a semi-final lineup of England V West Indies and Pakistan V South Africa. England had gone unbeaten throughout the whole tournament which made them overwhelming favourites. Pakistan had previously trashed South Africa by 9 wickets in the Group Stages. England won, and so did Pakistan (in a close contest).
Then came the final, one that will never be forgotten as Pakistan dethroned the previously long-unbeaten World Chumps, England. What made it all the more special is the way the bowlers and especially opening batsmen went about the job for Pakistan, here is the scorecard:

What a win lol! that must have come as a huge surprise, especially when they win by such a huge margin. Only question I got, is how come England got to be the best ODI side in the world and won the World Cup in 2007 :p

This is the game where I scored 900/1 with England on the demo right? :p

I'm guessing this was on the very first version - I don't think that is possible on subsequent versions and certainly isn't possible on 2007.
