Hello guys, my name is Umair and I am a big cricket fanatic. I happen to stumble across this section of the forum through Youtube.com and became very interested in simulated cricket stories and so I decided to start one on my own.
I have this Cricket Simulator from years back saved on my hard drive, unfortunately I don't know the name of the author nor the location of the website but its an amazing simulator written from simple Java Code.
Anyways, I have decided to start my cricket simulation based on real life facts and figures. I have started from the beginings of international cricket way back in 1887 with Test Number 1 between Australia & England at the Melbourne Cricket Ground. I have used real life averages of batsmen and bowlers and same 22 players used in the game with similiar game conditions.
Hopefully, I will continue to simulate matches in order of test played and display them here on the forums. I am looking forward for your feedbacks and suggestions. Unfortunately, I am not a big graphic savvy nor I have time to write reports for each match but I will post interesting facts and hopefully you guys will enjoy my little simulation.
