Is there anyway to connect a PC to the TV using AV cables. My tv only has AV in and outputs. I have a S video input on my laptop.

Also I have these cables

From left to right: TV2GO Software and Driver CD, TV2GO Quick Installation Guide, SVHS to RCA Cable, Composite Video Cable, Audio Output Cable, Audio Input Cable, S-Video Cable, USB B-to- B Cable, and on the bottom the Gainward branded faux leather carrying pouch. You'll also get a nifty remote:

You should be able to purchase a S-Video to AV lead from any decent TV/Hi-Fi store.

Did it yesterday. Dead easy!
I have really good computer speakers (from my stereo) so I only connected svideo and not audio.

u need a computer with s video or composite cable.these are generally there provided with graphic cards.
after that just connect, and configure the Drivers to send signals to the monitor

I'm gonna hijack this thread with a question of my own, sorry but better than starting another thread.
Ive got a problem with my video card. It is a Gigabyte Geforce 6600GT with several nice features like a Composite/S-video in. Now I bought the required leads, and rigged it all up and turned it all on. Nothing happened. I've reinstalled all the drivers, and looked for capture utilities, but nothing.
Thanks for any answers...

I've got composite cables as I can connect my tv tuner to the AV ports. I managed to get it working on a TV with the s-video port but my hard drive totally screwed up for some reason.

For the AV telly I was plugging the S-Video to Composite Video Cable to my Video input. Then I plugged my audio one from my mic to my audio tv. I may try it again on my laptop when I get my new hard drive although bit cautious given I blew it up the last time.

have u enabled TV out or something like that in BIOS?

Well, its an expansion card (i.e. not integrated into motherboard) so there would be no BIOS options to do with that. As for the BIOS on the video card, I don't know how to get into that.

Go to the Nvidia control panel (right-click on the desktop and select "nvidia display") and select the option "force detection of TV" under "Tools". This should solve your problem.

Thanks, the TV-Out worked. Looked like I forgot a crucial part of my question, which was I couldn't plug anything into the video card. Forcing TV Detection unfortunately doesn't change this.

Wahey, finally got VIVO working. Now I can play my Gamecube on my computer.

Gigabyte technical support weren't great, but it could have been much worse.
