If you were able to control only one player in cricket2004 and also play online then that would have been cool ,we could have created a tournament with 22 players playing on the game.Than we all could have played online against each other .You play for your side as a individeul and try to do your best

thats would be too ambitious to EA...or perhaps even for Codemasters...simultaneous coordination of 22 players along with other variables of the game is a tough thing to be implemented on a network

That sort of thing is there in some football games.

I've always wanted a cricket game where you are one player. You bat as them, bowl as them, field as them.
You could then play a career mode, where your batting positon, if you bowl, becoming captain, getting international call-ups etc depend on how you perform.

Yeah that would be so cool. But unfortunately that is very unlikely to happen. :mad

I can't see why not. It would certainly be possible to make...

I know but EA are too lazy.Well, perhaps BLC might have it....

come on. That would be so bloody boring sitting at third man for days on end, with the only entertainment being the occasional edge trickling your way. If they do that, I hope they let the game run in windowed mode so people can stay sane by doing other stuff at the same time.

that seems possible on a standalone pc and probably you could give this input to those codemasters people asking for suggestion somewhere on the forum but still to think that it would be possible to create and play in this fashion across the net doesn't seem viable...just two long a game and two many variable parameters...
