Cricket 2002 demo loader problems - Comdlg32.ocx file frustration

Can someone please help me!?
I get this message when I try to run C2k2.exe
" Failed to load control 'Common Dialogue' from comdlg32.ocx
Your version of comdlg32.ocx may be outdated. Make sure you are using the version of control that was provided with your application". Eventhough I extract from the same compressed file that has C2k2.exe

although i didn't have this problem i think the comdlg31.ocx file provided with the loader should go into your windows-system folder.

A huge thanks for the hint. I downloaded it and now the loader works fine. Now if you don't mind tell two final things to me. Has it happened ever that the stadium becomes invisible and some times the players tend to play backfoot shots instead of front foot shots.If yes of either one them/or all than at least help me with the stadium because the shots maybe just look wrong to me.

I just searched for Comdlg32.ocx and chose for it to look in the web and it showed me some sites from to get it

comdl32.ocx is a vb file u should extraxct its from win millenium 32cab file into ur sys filder of ur window....and also msvb60.dll

yes the stadium vanishes in the game when the demo expansion is used.You can fix this by d'loading the file"stadium fix" from c2002 online.

For your other problem refer to the post "batting difficulties" by "a10puddles" in this forum.

Hi everyone,
I got it working.
You have to floow couple of things in other postings too.
well, i got the file from some website but not from download.com. and you need to copy it in system folder and common files folder in program files.
My problem with altered control key got solved by unistalling the demo and reinstalling.
Surprsingly my strokes have changed. may be due to mcmillan mat, i am not sure. But my shots have definately changed. e.g for hook i was using power, frontfoot and backfoot keys, now i have to use different keys
not sure though, how and why?
ok guys, if any one has trouble let me know, i will try to help out , as i have ran through all the problems.

Hey all...I'm new here so i need some help....first of all in the demo loader there aren't 3 files....there are only 2.....so if someone can please tell me how to the get the third file and from where.....comdlg32.ocx....though finding it on the net did help....i downloaded it and replaced the one in my win/system folder.....but the modification date was the same....i need the updated comdlg32.ocx file....mr. llama plz reply.....or ne1 reply coz i need to get this working...thanks.....btw....if ne1 is from mumbai here and is intereseted in helping me plz add me to your msn messenger list...

search for the file and download it
