Cricket 2004 Does not Work!!!!

well try this set everything to low and try playing...

Try changing your AGP card properties,i mean,try changing the speed of working of AGP card.Try different values like 1X,2X or 4X.I think it must be 4X currently,so try 2X.Also try out various other options about AGP card.Atlast ,you can give a try to 3DAnalyser,which helps in emulating any display device as high end card and it has got various options.

I have already tried with lowest possible options but didn't work.

I am going to try AGP setting and see what happens.

I have tried AGP settings 1X, 2X and 4X but still didn't work.

My sound card is "Creative Audio PCI (ES1371, ES1373) (WDM)

i had the same problem...when i clicked on the icon nothing seemed to happen so i went to start...run....browse....find the Cricket 2004 directory and in it you will see the exe file....it worked when i did that....try it....sounds stupid but it worked!!! B)

I tried using your technique i.e. using start -> run -> browse -> cricket204, but still the result is same BLACK SCREEN!! nothing else.

Please help me out!!

If you can, try swapping video cards. Maybe borrow a friends or something.

Good News!!!

I finally got it worked.

All I do is installed Directx 9.0 again. Now it's working like a charm.
