I agree with you regarding Ricky Ponting International Cricket, it is a bit below par. My copy always crashes for NO reason, but Cricket 05 is rock solid in that department...
I hope they do impliment some of your ideas particularly franchise or multi year modes. Guide a country for 5 seasons or something like that...
* Improve manual catching and fielding (the current camera angles are horendous you just cannot play with manual fielding.
* More variety in bowling. At least RPIC gives you new options in a cricket game. Its fun to bowl.
* Improve fielding. We keep saying it that the AI for fielding is hopelessly inadequate yet no one listens. One time the fielder will dive and pull off a briliant safe then the very next ball it passes by him at arms length and he watches it zoom to the boundary.
* Save replay option. Come on guys Fifa has been doing it for years.
* Slightly larger fields. They are all the same or at least behave that way currently.
