Hello,

I need some advice. My bat broke (SG Sunny Tonny) after only about 100-200 strokes (it was knocked it as per the store).

Can this be repaired? If so, how.

I really appreciate your feedback!

Thank you!

Probably not. You could try gluing it back together then adding some fibreglass tape but there's a good chance it could just break again. I know it's a pain cause cricket bats aren't cheap. It's ok for professional players they don't pay for their equipment.

Bats are a lot softer these days unfortunatly. In my younger years when bats of mine broke it was more a case of the blade flying off the handle ala Rodney Marsh.

I had a similar brake in my SS, clued it together and tapped it with fiberglass tape.... unfortunately it was never the same again.... I gave it to youngsters to use for backyard cricket with their tennis-and practise balls. Hard luck mate, best buy a new one.
