:o Sorry to start a new topic but I don't find any other topic that closely represents my problem. I have a problem. Whenever I want to change a bowler, I am not able to do so. I am not very familiar with Cricket2002 but I have played it for sometime. I am not able to change bowlers when bowling. And also, I am not able to Save the game in between a match. Plz does anyone know how to fix this problem? After an over is completed, a menu comes and i am not able to navigate in that menu. I have to press Esc to return to the match. No navigation.Help someone!!

Are you using keyboard controls? If so try using (I think) W and S to navigate through the menu and (again I think) The up cursor key to select.

These are my controls:

Frontfoot Shot: Z
Backfoot Shot: W
Advance Shot: A
Duck/Cancel Run: D
Power Boost: Numpad0
Up: Up arrow
Down: Down Arrow
Left: Left Arrow
Right: Right Arrow

With these controls, I play the game. Do you want me to use W and S with these controls?

If you're using those controls you should be able to navigate the menu using the cursor keys.

Set the controls back to the defaults. (Go to Options -> Controls and click default under your keyboard controls)
Then you can use W and Z to navigate through the menu and the down arrow to select an item.

I've just tested it out on mine and it works.

It's a lot easier if you get a joypad by the way.

I don't know why EA didn't just allow us to use the mouse during in-game menus. It would have made the whole thing a lot easier.

Ok. I am now trying to adjust to the Default control setup. But the great thing is that I am able to navigate through the menus. I normally play test matches and now I am able to fully complete a test match by playing it for 5 to 10 days (I save it for next day's play). So, it is good. But the Default controls are mooo! tough to get used to. For batting, it is tough. Though, for bowling it is a bit easier. By the way, how much is a joypad and how to install it?

For prices just go to your local computer shop and have a look! Mine cost me 20 pounds in english money. If you get a USB one it's completely plug and play.

I don't know where you live but If you want to get a Joypad get Gravis GamePad Pro, Its a USB controller a and you can set up to 10 buttons on it so its really useful with other PC games too and its only around $15-$20 US Dollars.

Reconfig ur controls every time and make the control.ini file read only

thanks. I am using the default controls and it works fine for me!!
