DDS Error -_-

I know this has been asked and experienced before but I have searched, and I haven't any answer until now. So when I try to import a DDS file with BIG Editor the Editor stops working. Help? yais i have returned O.o

Run the editor as an administrator.

Doing that, ran the troubleshooter, still no result.

Which OS? Initially I had the same problem. Then, I read somewhere and by right-click I ran it as an admin and it worked.

Bleh, sorry for double post but it seems like when I use the compatibility troubleshooter's recommended settings the Editor sometimes allows the importing of DDS files. BTW for anyone that wants to know my troubleshooter is putting the compatibility mode to Windows XP SP2.

Yes I was.

I solved the problem myself, I was trying to import kits and I realized that I had to open a .texpack file then replace a DDS _d file. But importing DDS works for bats, doesn't it? I surely remember doing that.
