Space Exploration is fine. We need to know if we are the only ones out there. And another Race may help us Humans survive and adapt. I mean, we surely can't be the only ones.

Exactly correct. Earth cannot be the only planet out of the zillions out there that support intelligent life. (not that Earthlings are intelligent anyway...)
One day, we will have to move from planet Earth. Greenhouse gases and global warming isn't much help. We need to find an alternative place to go or else we should really think about saving our planet from destruction.
Hopefully we don't have a world war 3 before then!

Yes, we could build spaceships which use solar energy for example. Remember, we will have to more from Earth eventually... so this indeed won't be in our lifetime, but rather, far into the future. I'm sure we will find a different sort of energy to 'fuel' the future spaceships.

It could be greenhouse gases, natural heating of the earth after an ice age etc............The hole in the ozone layer above the North Pole has been proven to be repairing itself.

But its getting worse and worse down in antarctica. 50 years ago there was just slight damage, now the damage is as far as Australia and South America

Can't really trust all that. Huge interests are at stake and I honestly wouldn't put it past corporations and Big Media (aided and abetted by the schmuk in the White House) to fabricate some of these stories.
