Desktop toolbar Problem

Alright, my problem is whilst playing PES2008, and having a jolly old time, my PC decided to restart, comes back says it had an error, nothing major, so my toolbar is higher than usual, bit of stuffing around, it's down to size, but my icons are around the rong way,, whilst moving them around I realise that when I open a program eg. Firefox it doesn't show up in the toolbar, any help? It's fairly annoying and hard to keep up with!

right click on the taskbar, and go to toolbars, and untick quick launch toolbar.

Maybe its overriding your whole taskbar. Also uncheck any other toolbar if ticked.

The image is cropped, I tried in Google but couldn't find anything that helped, and taking any toolbars out didn't help either, so thanks for the help but it's not working
