ok,just to help you here.There are a couple of ways to reduce or replace the smiling problem.

1)You could select the lips and just remove them,and keep the original lips in the base picture,if you feel that those lips suit the particular player.

2)If the player is showing a little bit of teeth,you could consider using the clone tool and patch up gently by zooming in high and try to hide those teeth.

Seems to be an improvement,try using the clone tool again near the cheek so that the player doesnt look as he's smiling.

The head looks better,but try changing the Hue Saturation to make him look a lot fairer.
