England v Australia

The Ashes have just started once more the 1st few overs have been firey as the Aussies won the toss and elected to bat no this rock hard pitch on which they hav got of to a flyer with only one problem the loss of Matthew Hayden he was suprised but a yorkerish ball pitchin in front of him and was bowled stups flying now the punter and Langer have got to take it slow to make use of this pitch

ENGLAND GETTING THE BREAKTHROUGHS!!!

By the start of the Lunch Break the Aussies are 142-3. Well u can say England had some luck. First to go was Langer after striking the ball well he misjudged a ball swinging in from Hogard and got bowled on 58 he was definatly hoping to make the 100. Then the Punter who was out in the most unluckiest fashion the inside edge on to the stumps trying to cut a ball which was a reasonable shot but thats his luck played on to his stumps from a ball by Flintoff, Ponting was looking good and owuld have also hoped to make a 100 but didnt even get to the 50 mark out on 43.

Now Marto and Clarky need to knuckle down as it were to at least get them through the day with them two at the crease.

Nice start but what about the build-up to the series? Keep this going.

Cheers,

AUSSIES IN COMANDING POSITION BUT ENGLAND STILL IN IT!!!

The Aussies are in a very commanding position but the thing is that its still the first day and there all out at 5.10pm but there score is huge see below. It was the effort of the tail and Simmon Katich who many people doubted he made a 109* while Warney and Lee made a few. Gilly some say still has a lack of performance in the Ashes yet again failing to impress but the rest of the team looks good.

Englands main man was Hoggard taking 4 wickets but all in all it was a good bowling and batting session now England dont want to looese a wicket in the few minutes that are left
