The toss: Michael Vaughan once again lost the toss, and the Northern Districts captain, unsurprisingly, chose to bat on a batsman friendly wicket.

Vaughan "I would have liked to have batted but it doesn't bother us really. We have the firepower in our seam attack to bowl them out quickly and then knock the runs off, so we're not that bothered about having to field first"

Thats what happened at the toss, and this wicket promises to have a lot of runs in it.

Will update when the Northern Districts innings is complete.
