"fatal error - failed to initialize". cricket 2004

i just installed cricket 2004 and when i try to play it it says "fatal error - failed to initialize". can anyone please help out a fellow desi bhai?!

1) Do you have the CD inserted?
2) What is your PC configuration?

Maybe bcos of graphic driver or the system requirements are not met.

When ur CD is not inserted u get this:

i am having the same problem i have the cd and it used to work before but now it is not working i get fatal error unable to intialize.. could someone please help

hmmm. Uninstall the game first and then reinstall it, preferably on a second hard disk/partition.

Have you changed/upgraded ram or any drivers recently ?

Ya!, this is the same error when i use sam's new beta exe!, any how i over come the prob after i re-install my graphics driver!
