What do OVR, POT and hits mean?

What do OVR, POT and hits mean?

I'll be simming the games through tournament mode, and these stats are based on offline-single player for career mode and normal games.
Just look at the OVR (overall) stat.


EDIT: Just gonna use kick-off as essentially you cannot watch a game in tournament mode. I'm not sure if I'm correct but I'm pretty sure in older FIFA versions, you could do that.
