Firefox problem

I have been using it for around a year now, and i started having this problem since like a month but never bothered posting it here. Tried looking on google but no help.

So the problem is that it used to be logged in to websites whenever I went to any of them, but now it doesn't stay logged in. It remembers my user id and password, but isn't logged in. Works fine if I get off the website and don't close Firefox and go back to the website.

Help will be appreciated

I had this with Firefox and IE. I think it is down to your cookies, but I can't remember how I fixed it? I think it had something to do with clearing them.

Delete your cookies(Ctrl+Shift+Del) and try

Tools->Options->Privacy, select 'they expire' in the cookies section.

If nothing works, Create a new profile in firefox. Works for sure

It's best to have Firefox delete most cookies on close, but then use the exceptions list for the relatively small number of sites that you want to remain logged in on.
