Yes there is. Get the Player Editor made be lazy_chestnut in the BLIC 2007 downloads forum. It includes a built-in face and name fixer. Link to the thread follows:

In case if you don't find the fix name & face button, I'll quote lazy_chestnut's instruction:
"Click Batch Editing->Fix Spoof Names and Faces, or whatever it says."
