Comments by anyone who has got this game or played it.

I have played it and will be purchasing it soon, untill then im stuck with FM05. Basically 06 has updated stats and a few changes to the system, the biggest one is the half time and full time team talks where you can give ure players a rolloking or encourage them. There are now dugouts on the sidelines so the players arent just standing there which i thought was a nicde touch. All in all its a very good game IMO.

Obviously you can win easilly when you are playing as the big teams, the real challeneg is taking a conference team and moving them up the leagues, i normaly do this once i get used to the game.

harmi can u give me some tips. I am playing FM06 for 1st time and i am Arsnel and i draw with teams like WBA can u give me some tactical tips from which i can score more or win.

Don't worry, Arsenal lost to WBA 2 weeks ago in the EPL...so atleast you seem to be better than Wenger!

ya i know but seriously i need a little help beating bigger teams. I drew 3-3 v Juventus and destroyed W Ham 4-1 but then lost to chelsea 1-0

I beat ports 6-0 and juventus 3-0 as well as chelsea 2-0...

FM2006 has advanced much more than its earlier version or any version of CM. Whereas in other versions you could find a tactic and stick with it for the whole game (and career if it was that good) in FM2006 the AI of the computer has seemingly advanced meaning it will find weaknesses in your tactics and exploit them.

Early in my season with Arsenal I found this out the hard way sticking with a slightly modified 4-4-2 tactic with 2 wingbacks and 2 attacking wingers and I was exploited easily getting beaten by Middlesbrough 5-0! Changes were needed so i went 4-1-3-2 formation and whenever I took the lead in a game i would take a player out of the 3 in the middle of the park and put them along side Gilberto to make it a 4-2-2-2! You may think this weakens your team but it doesnt as I found and actually strengthens your defense resulting in me conceding less goals (a bad habit in FM2006 is that when you go 2 or 3-0 up the opposition nearly always scores and brings it back)

My team talks were not pleasing to my players and as a result nearly all of them are unhappy! But after a tragic start which saw me 15th after 10 games, I have come round and am now 5th after 15. Found a peach of a striker, and my squad is looking okay, see screenshots below!

Overall I am very pleased with how FM2006 plays and some of the new additions to it are great.

Tsh Manure arent any good! Tottenham and Chelsea are real anoying to play against mainly because Cech and Robinson are unbelievably hard to score against!! Even with Henry and King Iaquinta!

It will be, but it wont be called that due to license problems, but that can be solved if you download a fix patch from sortitoutsi.net

And James! Thats a poor excuse for not being able to provide a screenshot! Me thinks you are covering the truth from us not showing that your manure team is really in the relegation zone.........with 2 games left
