I just purchased a gravis eliminator gamepad with rumble/vibration .It works well with cricket 2004 but the rumble feature doesnt work. In the game menu , under settings I have turned vibration to "ON" , yet it still doesnt work .Any thoughts?

Don't bother, I don't think it works for anyone. I have dual shock PS2 controllers hooked up to my PC, and those don't work for it either, although the dual shock feature works for all the other games I have.

It works for me, not worth worrying about.
coz there is only a little bit when the bat hits the ball (when you are batting)
and when you are fielding there is a little bit when the ball goes into the keepers gloves are back to the bowler

If it works for you - please let me know what sort of gamepad you have and apart from switching the vibration on if there is any other driver that I need to install. I also have noticed with the AI patch ver 5.0 on medium level that sometimes the batsman plays a default defensive shot and not the shot that I would like . Ravi from planetcricket said he had fixed this with his next patch and it did improve, but it still occurs once in a while.Does it have to do with the timing of the shot?

sorry for straying off the topic a bit, but how do you purchuse a PS2 controller or any console controller for the computer that plugs into your front USB port ?

You just buy the normal PS1 or PS2 controllers and then, all you need are the PS-PC USB converters...and you're good to go. In case you're wondering where you can get PS-PC USB converters, just google it and you will find a site.
