They have a lot of well known books there, anything which states that this is actually legal?
Well it'll certainly help if I need the study up on Dickens :D

It is perfectly legal if 60 years have elapsed since the original author's death. That is the time frame after which copyrights are freed, and subsequent publishers/distributors have to only acknowledge the author as original creator of the piece of work in question, and do not have to pay any royalty or proceeds from sales to the author's trust or his/her family.

i knew u would have posted that here.;)

also, if u want to find books, research papers, etc, just go to google, click advanced.select filetype as Pdf.and search for desired book.

It always results in good info to read.

Oh ok. I missed that part about searching for pdf in your post. I thought you were referring to the Library search Google is making, in collaboration with major university libraries which will allow scholars to access rare resources. (sort of like Telnet worked earlier).

I am waiting for it too.Although I had forgotten about that :rolleyes:

has it taken off? reached beta?

ITs very intresting and would really help students/ info hungry people like u and me.
