Welcome to my new story which will replace the journey of International Teams. Basically you may be thinking this is another Ashes story but it isn't. I, OrderDX and tonka998 will manage England and Australia seperately. The first thing we will do is an Ashes Tour to England with Australia. Then after that there will be seperate tours for both teams before the Ashes are contested in Australia. On the way their will be events such as the world cup and ICC World Twent20 as well as rankings. However the only teams in this story are the top eight in the worlds not Bangladesh or Zimbabwe. Hope you enjoy our story!

After the following squad was announced the new coach of England Luke Gardener made the following statements in reply to many questions asked by the media.

When asked about Chris Read being the only wicket keeper:

"I feel that Chris Read deserves a place in the England squad he is clearly the best glovemen that we have at the moment and now he just needs to score his run with Matt Prior and Geraint Jones also close on his tail"

On the surprise inclusions of Rob Key, Mal Loye & Graeme Swann.

"Graeme Swann firstly offers us a different option. Going in with just Monty leaves us a bit vulnerable he adds more depth and hopefully he can do well. Mal Loye and Rob Key are both big hitters and add even more depth to our squad. Overall we are confident that with the twenty boys selected we can really challenge the Aussies"

The following squad was announced by Tom Carr, the manager of Australia and when asked by the media he responded in different ways.

Answering a question asking why Simon Katich had been recalled.

"Katich is a fine player in One Day matches as well as tests. He has had a good season and it is only fair that he gets another chance in the international arena."

He was also asked about the inclusion of Ben Hilfenhaus and Mitchell Johnson.

"I believe that Mitchell and Ben are both exciting young prospect and by inlcuding them as well as Tait and the more experienced bowlers like Lee, Bracken and Clark there is a good balance in the team. I am excited about the upcoming tour of England."

I think Katich is a good player - the best option i had! Just my opinion...

(I probably wont play him anyway - just a backup!) :p
