Yea, like van Dalen in the match I had today, smacked 44 off 17. I might pop up to No. 3 in a T20 and set him to aggressive. He'll be my pinch hitter. I'll definitely give that a go.

My No, 7 and 8 can hold their own the bat. My No. 7, Phelan, has scored a century (147*) and averages 102.50 in OD and scored 41* off 29 in the only T20 innings he's played.

Also, looking through my season stats so far, I've realised that none of my bowlers have taken a 5-fer thus far. Plenty of 4-wicket hauls, but no 5. Must be because my bowlers sometimes don't bowl their full allotment of overs and the opposition is so weak that they all take a few wickets a piece and no one bowler ever dominates.

Pinch hitters mostly need power, (as well as batting and technique I suppose). So if one of your bowlers has a lot of power then it could work.

He was 25, outstanding bat, reliable keep, accomp field, and some other decent stats too. 45k rating.

I have Alfred Cush who usually bats well at No.7 but when promote him higher he mostly fails. But at No.7 he has excellent record like an all-rounder...

Pettinger 33* off 26 on a debut on an uneven pitch to get us over the line by 5 wickets with about 7 overs to spare. I play the 4th placed team next week. Need to win.

Graham Phillips is the third highest wicket taker with 19, 1 behind 2nd place and 2 behind 1st place.

My bowlers have a lot of 5-fers . Screech powers has 2 in T20 and just got his first in OD today. Amit mishra has 2 in OD. M Ismail has one in OD which is the best performance by any bowler in my team. 7-10 i think

lol at you all trying to emulate Screech Powers. I guess i gotta rest him before my match against Hedger. Who knows what he might do in that match.

My new WK had a nice first game. Scored 81(51b) and then took 2 catches and 2 stumpings

The reason you get 5-fers is because you have a few super players, and the rest are decidedly average and don't take too many wickets.

Heck that's quite a player. Look at his wage. That'll drain your funds pretty quickly. Can you even afford him?

I have 100k but his price will most likely go up by quite a bit before the end of the auction. Look at his power though!

I have one player whose wage is nearly that high... his rating is nowhere near that though lol

Meh, he's only Accomplished bowling. If he was expert, I would have probably bought him.

lol, the only senior player I'm not paying above $3792 in wages is Murray Oldroyd who is $2,330. My next lowest is Thomas Taafe who is $4,090.

My highest is LeBron James who is paid $10,364 a week and Bob Kwistel who is paid $9,489 a week.
