Game Crashes on Menu

After uninstalling WCEXP...my menu has no sound and then....
the game crashes...
my cousin currently has my cd so I kept the wcexp exe file and now I can't reinstall...can anyone give me some suggestions as to how to fix it for the time being before I get my CD back

Someone gave me their menu sounds
still no difference.
I reinstalled WCEXP....still no difference...please someone I need to play..till I get my CD back 2 weeks from now so I can reinstall...

No idea, I'm afraid. I think you're going to have to wait to get your CD back. When you reinstall, make sure you do a full install.

Try downloading the sound patch from cricket2002.tk. Other than that, I've got no ideas.
