Game crashes with repeating sound during game

Hey guys,

Don't really know what's the problem here. The game usually loads fine. Occasionally, the application will hang (with the repeating sound noise). The screen is frozen. And the only way to fix it is to reboot the computer.

Does anyone know what's going on or how I can check what the error is?

Computer specs:
Windows Vista
nVidia 8800GTS 320mb
E6600 Dual core
2gb RAM
