Game will not run, goes straight to black screen

Hi all

I just bought Brian Lara Cricket through Steam and when I run the game a sound plays for 1-2 seconds and then the screen goes black and the game never comes up, infact no video comes up at all, the screen goes black and stays black, no crash messages come up in Vista at all...

I'm running Vista Ultimate 32-Bit and have a Intel Core 2 Quad Q6600 with 4gb RAM and have a GeForce GTX 260 Graphics Card.

Please help me, really want to play this game but it refuses to work for me

I've tried running it without the steam community in-game and have also tried running it as administrator and have also tried running it with XP compatibility but to no avail.

I also have up-to-date graphics & audio drivers

Pleeeeeease help!

Found the answer in another thread, I deleted all the .wmv files out of the 'Movies' folder and now the game works! :o

I really hate steam, I could not get my FM09 to work until i installed through the other way.
